Yo-Yo Reviews: X³ Aware
The innovative French yo-yo company X³ (XCube) by Alexandre Valin (Xela) has launched a new yo-yo: The Aware.

X³ Aware Yo-Yo - Testbericht

The key data:
Diameter: 52,5mm
Width: 41mm
Weight: 63,8 gram
Bearing: Concave size C
Response system: X Cube Silicone

The string gap is fixed. The colors of the aware are mind blowing! The splash design is very nice and there is also a limited edition, which has an awesome color gradient. This makes a spectacular effect when the yo-yo spins. The design of the yo-yo is super, the halves on the outside are just a totally smooth dip and the part which holds the axle is completely invisible.

Play behavior:
When playing, the Aware feels heavier than it actually is, and this is good. So it has a crazy sleeper and the high quality concave bearing gives a good basis for this. All in all the Aware is very fast and smooth. Classical thumb grinds are not possible due to the missing edge. But if you tilt the yo-yo to a horizontal position, it can be balanced on the finger. Super long grinds on one finger are no problem at all, as the gap fits perfect for this. The response leaves you without any more wishes.

Conclusion:
The Aware by X³ is high level yo-yo. With its design it clearly differs from other metal yo-yos. With a price of 89€ it no cheap deal, but worth every cent. I pick up my Aware very often.

In the gallery we have more pictures and we also have a video of the Aware in action.
